Alisa Farkas is a licensed independent social worker trained to treat a wide range of mental health disorders. She earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work from the Ohio State University. Prior to joining our team Alisa (Ali) worked at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where she provided individual and group therapy for children, adolescents and their families. Ali enjoys using the Incredible Years Parenting Practice, EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, TF-CBT, and Motivational Interviewing to address mood and anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress disorder, personality disorders, and bereavement. Her clinical strengths include working with children, adolescents and adults with mental, emotional and behavioral disturbances (particularly those with Posttraumatic Stress, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorders, ADHD, and family issues).
